    Prior to building Palexy, Thong was the co-founder and Managing Director of Arimo, a Big Data company that offers Data Science as a Service for global enterprises. Arimo, acquired by Panasonic US, was ranked as one of the top 10 most innovative tech startups in Big Data and AI by Fast Company Magazine in 2016.
    Thong got a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University with 5 patents in Computer Vision and AI.

Since 2020, she has been leading the data and insights team at Foodpanda Thailand. Her role comprises interacting with all internal departments like commercial, marketing, finance, operations and HR to understand their KPIs, enable tracking and measurement along with managing strategic initiatives for improving performance or bringing in process efficiencies. She also handles local product development, enhancements and analytics as part of the automation initiative. Hattaiwat has worked for a leading billion-dollar eCommerce company where he spent many years architecting solutions for their eCommerce platform. In addition to being the lead on a major cloud and digital transformation project, he was also part of the IT Center of Excellence where some of his responsibilities revolved around staying connected with industry direction, getting his hands dirty with new tech and being a technology change advocate.

    For the past 3 years, Hattaiwat has worked on migrating a 22-year-old eCommerce platform, while keeping a strong focus on Regulatory Compliance and Security, by making use of Infrastructure-as-Code tools. He has designed multiple solutions which helped migrate more than 400 applications and more than 500 critical database servers with zero downtime. He is a technology enthusiast who will go the extra mile to get the right solution for the right problem.
